Northern Nevada Homes Wood-burning Device Presentation

The Washoe County Health District – Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) has made significant revisions to the regulations governing Wood-Burning devices. The changes affect all Wood-Burning devices including wood heaters, fireplaces, and hydronic heaters. In addition, the new changes will have a potential impact to all escrow transactions and the sale of all Wood-Burning devices in Washoe County. The new changes will take effect on July 1^st, 2022.
